Lone Wolf Posted June 20, 2021 Posted June 20, 2021 Plenty of rumours going around. It Actually started when there was heavy troop movement last week in Kashmir. According to them parts of Jammu & Kashmir will be divided & certain areas of Punjab & Himachal may get added too into a separate state/UT of Jammu region. All party meeting will happen on 24th of June with Mehbooba mufti boycotting it. Local parties are protesting as well. Interesting days lie ahead indeed

Another important thing that you guys may or may not know is that any non Kashmiri/Muslim to settle into Kashmir or buy property is like a pending death sentence. My Sikh friend lives in Kashmir like few others & not long ago he told me he had few guests stay with him for a week & people did ask him questions about who they are or are these guys buying property.. They were tourists so no worries. Tourists are welcome. Although if you are not tourists & thinking about buying property then you are on borrowed time. It is sad but it is cold hard truth. Media won't show it coz they shouldn't but still.. As J&K is vital for nation's defence POV due to its geography... I think GOI realized that some sort of compromise is perhaps needed.

Whaaaat???? Lol India & Pakistan would have fought regardless. Terrorism in Punjab would be all time high. Terrorist attacks in Delhi & HP including ceasefire violations. Not to mention capital city will be far too close to Border. J&K serves as a vital buffer to all this & is a security blanket of sorts. Land invasions into J&K is practically so so tough as we have seen in 1947 & 1965. Same way goes to Pakistan... Losing PoK means Pakistan is done as well. All of the wars apart from 1971 have been linked to Kashmir. J&K should have been partitioned along religious lines like Punjab and Bengal. Banton 1
