  1. 1. Are you satisfied with team India on day 5?

From being just 100 runs shy, NZ was in a pole position to take the match away from India at the end of day 3. But India dragged back NZ and dismissed them conceding a slender lead of 32 runs. Now, India is back in the business with 60 runs on board and still 8 wickets in the bank.

With only one day left in the match, India could have very well saved this test match with the good on-field performance today.

It was okayish. Bowlers did a great job or else we were staring at at least a 120 lead the way Conway and Latham were going.

Hope they do something special tomorrow. But would be happy if it ends in a draw with us in the ascendancy.

Going into Day 6, I would rather be in India's position but that can turn on a dime if NZ grab two wickets very quickly. Lose Kohli and Rahane quickly and NZ are in the box seat.

If India was just a wicket down and Hitman still out there, would have been a different story as he can accelerate the run rate and get us to that "safe" score of about at least 150+

The key for me will be one of Pujara, Kohli, Rahane or Pant scoring 50+ and we need all our bowlers to bowl well and that includes Bumrah.

If NZ lose early wickets chasing a score of 150+ and try and shut up shop, then Ash and Jaddu should both come into the game, they are proven match winners and this will be a Day 6 pitch, with fielders around the bat, choking them. Light shouldnt be an issue either, if the two of them are bowling and they have proven many times they can bowl for long periods.

Pant is key tomorrow after 1st hour, he can set up a score, with Jadeja and Ashwin, other three seniors  have to play out time, no demon in the pitch, just in their heads and in swing.

If there is no "demons" in the pitch, India will have to be very cautious in setting a target that is not gettable by NZ.

Its unfortunate that the team on top of the ladder is not given the trophy in a drawn game, otherwise, NZ would be FORCED to chase any target India sets, making it much more exciting.
