Golf enthusiasts, few small doubts.   How many types of golf clubs are there? One for long distance, one for short putting? Do they carry their own golf balls or does the event organizer provide them with designated tournament balls?   Do they play the same 18 holes on all 4 days here, or its it 18x4=72 different holes?   Are PGA/LPGA golf courses much larger than this Olympics course, hence with higher par for every shot? That could explain why Aditi with her stron

India winning the bronze medal in men’s hockey at the Olympics, after a gap of 41 years, is perhaps the greatest achievement for sports in the country. Even two-time World Cup-winning Team India member, Gautam Gambhir thinks so. After the team won the historic bronze beating Germany 5-4, the former India opener took to Twitter, and wrote, “Forget 1983, 2007 or 2011, this medal in Hockey is bigger than any World Cup! #IndianHockeyMyPride."

Belittling Cricket achievements is big tradition in India. Even ex cricketers are not behind. It's good achievement but only for india. Can anybody tell without Google who won bronze in Olympic hockey in 2000, 2004 ,2008 ?

we can send Andhra politicians to this event, they really love padayatras. both current and ex cm of andhra walked like 1500 kms and one more guy is getting ready for next term

Imo, belittling cricketing achievements is wrong, but it’s absolutely okay to criticise the lack of achievements in a sport where you have virtual monopoly, best sporting infrastructure, well compensated athletes, etc. If Hockey had even 1% of the infrastructure and funding Cricket receives, we would have won medals at every Olympics and world championships post 2000, with many golds

We dont have best infrastructure even for cricket. We still have poor nutrition and poor standard of living for aspiring cricketers. Politics involved too.

Who is saying not to criticise cricket if they fail? We have set very high standards for our cricketers. And cricket generate it's own revenue .
