When you have a name that begins with those letters you are bound to win medals.

Don't act so surprised. :dontknow:

10 medals...

Boss performance

First ever double digit tally in either Olympics or Paralympics for India. Would love to see those very people who say sports under this government is not looked after and has got worse since 2012 tally which was congress ruled…

Boss performance

We are going to become a sporting powerhouse this decade or in 2030s. Not at the level of USA, China, Russia, GBR, Australia, Japan, South Korea and some of the other developed countries, but we can be part of the next pack of countries that includes powerhouses like Brazil, Spain, Cuba, Poland, Hungary, Iran, Turkey etc.

What a time to be alive. Our parents belonged to a generation which saw India struggle to field one medal prospect. Here we have dozens of World/Asian champs in our contingents and medal contenders each day.

10 medals already. Before Tokyo we had won 12 medals in the history of these games.

Nil in 1988-2000 and nil in Beijing, just 1 in London 2012.

Waise we could have touched double digits even in the Summer Games, need a bit more luck and clutchness...and better management/communication looking at the Vinesh Phogat story. Hope Paris changes course of Indian sports forever.

Indian cricketers are nalayaks. Our Olympians have proved Modi isn't a panauti @Jimmy Cliff, I was wrong about Supreme Leader.

To be fair we won in Aus twice in a row. Back in 90s even winning a test overseas was a big thing. Just saying. This team test cricket wise is streets ahead in terms of results.

After a quiet couple of days.. medal 11 for India - silver in a high jump event. Hopefully few more chances to reach 15 medals this time. In Shooting, Athletics and Badminton.

Medal #12 from Avani Lekhara. Bronze in the 50m 3 positions Rifle... She did well to get into medal position after a bad round in the kneeling position. First multiple medalist for India in the same paralympics.
