Shami and Bumrah probably need a rest. Rahane needs to be dropped or say he has a niggle if you don't want say he is dropped. Team for Oval should be the following: Rohit KL Pujara Kohli SKY Pant Ashwin Axar Thakur Yadav Siraj Pace bowling is a bit inexperienced but you need to strengthen the batting. Some sort of batting upto number 9.

Some sort of batting upto number 9. bumrah and shami need to play. lesser workload maybe but absolutely need to. yadav/thakur are not strike bowlers. siraj is hot and cold. bumrah/shami are the only ones (apart from ashwin) who can break open sessions when there are no wickets falling. rohit kl pujara kohli sky/vihari jadeja ashwin pant shardul bumrah shami batting till 9. jadeja can play himself in so up the order. pant can slog at the end with the bunnies. bumrah/shami/ashwin as strike bowlers with shardul/jadeja support.
