Like in UAE if you Covid close contact even if you are negative, you get quarantined for 6 days. Playing protocol was different. Shastri was positive but his close contacts did get quarantined and weren't there in the dressing room. Same thing would have happened to players. Close contact players wouldn't have been available to play. I hope things are clear now or you aren't obtuse on purpose. Dont confuse players with players playing test. Both have different protocols. Their techniques will be tested in aisa. Add in umesh who averages 23 in India. They might get hurt badly. Sorry it's a mismatch. India plays bounce and pace very well unfortunately. They play spin decently too. Just can't handle swing and even there, current team is improving.
