putrevus Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 How can any sane idiot say it is continuation of this series after two years. This series is done and dusted. The fifth test has to be either part of new series or a standalone test. sandeep 1

Or do you prefer to have this match forelfeited without playing.. if that happens why would india play a one off test anyways.. just to make good losses after forfeiting a test. Real McCoy 1

How are you comparing a tournament to one off test.
Sgattick10 Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 Wtf. Expected better from Ganguly. Last match was abandoned/cancelled. India won 2-1.. Get on with it. Real McCoy 1

Icc in all eventuality will rule in favour of England. The adjudicator is a british qc. There is no appeals process. I would rather play a rescheduled test and lose than give them walkover to become 2-2 Finer 1

R!TTER Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 Did that heart attack have any effect on his (pea) brain
Prabhdeep Singh Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 (edited) It could be good practice for 2023 WTC Final if India reaches final again, as WTC Final is a one off test also. Therefore, it can be part of current series (remaining match to be played next year) if the alternative is forfeiture. I am not sure what the other option is. Only among suppport staff. The rule says if one or more player has covid you can use covid substitutes.. here there was no player affected Finer and sage 2
