Dav Whatmore joins Baroda as the new Head Coach and Director Of Cricket. He becomes the most expensive coach of Indian domestics with around 1cr salary a season.

He was Nepal's head coach, was getting around the same amount from them but has quit the post in just 8-9 months.

 

He has really good experience of the Indian circuit first as NCA Director (was paid around $175K in 2007, coach of the 2008 u-19 WC winning team under Kohli), then from 2009-12 as KKR coach and later as the head coach of Kerala from 2017-19 taking them first to Ranji QFs and in 2018-19 to the semi finals.

South Mumbai flats are bare minimum  65-70K INR per sq feet. A barely adequate 1200-1500 sq feet flat would cost over 10 crore rupees.  Old money 2nd gen who already live in South Mumbai wouldn’t know the struggle
