rangeelaraja Posted September 27, 2021 Posted September 27, 2021 Admittedly the phrase (Pakistan an arsonist pretending to be a fire fighter ) was " stolen " word for word by Sneha from Christine Fair's description of Pak's role in Afghanistan --- the rest of her riposte was quite remarkable. coffee_rules Posted September 27, 2021 Posted September 27, 2021 Why is this celebrated all over SM. She just read a speech probably prepared by an aide/assistant, approved by MEA or the officials at the UN Ambassador’s office. It’s her job. Just like the Pakistani counterpart reading a Braille Speech regurgitating ISI and/IK’s speeches on Hindutva/RSS/BJP. sandeep, diga and Lone Wolf 3

Lone Wolf Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 More than that her take down of Aaj tak's AOK was wildly celebrated on Social media lmao Anyways I think her response was good she could have specifically mentioned PoK & GB though.. I guess that's MEA's mindset to stay silent on that in UN for some odd reason. Sushma Swaraj's speech at the UN will always be special as she completely floored Paxtan.
speedheat Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 Mor than that I absolutely loved her epic response to Godi bhakt anjana om modi, wordlessly imploring her to keep quiet and leave. Lol. Epic humiliation. Vickydev and Lone Wolf 2

Lol. Epic humiliation. There is a clip when she was searching for Modi Biden meet in US papers but didn't found any.. She was so disappointed lmao I mean their colonial mindset & gora bhakti is upto such a level that they seek validation everywhere. Indian media is shameless beyond anyone's imagination. Her humiliation was need for the hour. Instead of any kinda of analysis or what this quad (I have severe doubts whether she has any idea about it) meet means for India she is doing shameless reporting like Modiji is on some holiday. Why would anyone take these clowns seriously? Vickydev and speedheat 2

If you do that, then you are validating the Pakistani approach to argue about defunct "UN resolutions". Indian stance is that all that 1950s history is superseded by Shimla agreement to settle the issue bilaterally, without any 3rd party involvement. Shimla actually had a clause to convert LOC into border with minor adjustments for topography and convenience, but Bhutto begged IG to leave it out "for now" else he'd be killed. Well, he was killed by PakMil anyway who view Shimla as a "betrayal" and do not want to abide by it. Never mind that it was Shimla that brought 90,000 of their soldiers back home, after PakMil lost the only 'war' fought between India and Pakistan, and that too decisively. PakMil's problem is that it does not want to accept Shimla, or the reality that it simply lacks any ability to force India into foregoing Shimla agreement and doing something else that would be more favorable to Pakistan. Their stance is that they will continue the undeclared war till the last Pakistani. And why not - they and their families are none the worse for it. So what if Pakistan turns into Xinjiang or Afghanistan. They are not affected in their Defence housing colonies, and their stolen money overseas. Think like a basic paindoo zamindar, and you will start to understand pakmil strategy. Mariyam, mishra, coffee_rules and 1 other 2 2

Mariyam Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 I don't have a high opinion of the Pakistani diplomatic corps. Most of them seem to be sifarshi appointees and make rookie mistakes. Once some woman showed pics from Palestine and claimed that they were from Kashmir. Some other diplomat showed footage from a Hollywood war movie and claimed it be atrocities carried out by Indian forces. All of this in the UN. Our diplomats go through the entire UPSC rigmarole and are far more competent/motivated. That said, IMHO as impressive as this UN speech is, it is routine fare for our diplomats. Its almost like how the India Pak rivalry has filled the ICC coffers, the India Pak jugalbandi will bring viewership to the UN GA sessions. And just like the ICC world cup, here too the record is completely in favour of India. raki05 and coffee_rules 2

The current speech writer seemed to have copied off the previous speech writer No wonder all his speeches are the same.

So a bit weak in numbers there. When was last time someone categorically mentioned that PoK is ours. Next step is putting a demand that Pakistani forces leave PoK and not keep India hostage just because they have nukes and those nukes are also at risk going in hand of those terrorists. so speech needs more substance. 6.5/10 Edited September 30, 2021 by mishra coffee_rules 1
