Don't trust those speed guns, In the past they have even measured Tushar deshpande bowling 96kph. Galetiya is a trundler but not that slow, nalkande who is quite quick was being clocked below 130kph a few days back.

Little I saw of Mavi, he seems to be improving even if not back to old peak. These are promising signs and BCCI should nurture him accordingly.

Needs to play one full season of FC games. If he comes through without injury, he will then be playing for India within 6-9 months of the season end. Hasn't bowled enough overs to be anywhere near to te promise he had shown.

For me, Yash Dayal is the real revelation. He looked sharp today certainly has improved his pace, needs some work on his fitness but has great skill set, moves the ball both ways.

It is important any bowler they identify is playing the right format. Siraj got introduced in the Limited overs wrongly.

And he is reasonably young as well, which is good. Needs to play for A team soon IMO.

Exciting prospect, he seems to have skills to trouble batsmen & is a decent pace too..

Prerak Mankad has done well in VHT so far. Batting avg of 113 at SR of 115 and bowling avg of 30 with ER of 4.1.

 

Ideal ODI team should have a min of 6 bowling options and the middle order bats should score at 100+ SR. Mankad is someone to keep an eye on. His bowling isn't that good, but it could improve. Batting is decent, although I haven't seen him much.

I though he was a hack. He seems to be consistent this season. Ruturaj/Venky Iyer/S Khan should already be part of our set up.

He will retire as a domestic legend. He may have been a bit more successful in  Tests. Thankfully we didn't need his services at all with guys like Bumrah coming through, Ishant reinventing himself, Shami improving.

I checked BCCI website. They don't have a whole lot of highlights videos. Even the one that they have are useless. Who cares about Bhuvaneswar kumar's  46 runs in 52 balls.
