This third part is made one month earlier and I would say this critic has assessed the situation very well and predicted the sacking of Kohli correctly a month in advance. It is probably some mirch masala but it is still watchable I will say. You can watch in any order but I will recommend seeing the first two parts and this one to enjoy the series. raki05 Posted December 12, 2021 Posted December 12, 2021 "Virat choose a team to win at all cost" was biggest sham. He always prefer doshti , rishtedari and players inferior to him. Just in one abroad series him and his crony being absent we won our biggest test victory with 7-8 new players. This moron and his PR attributed that victory to him inspite of knowing he never backed a single young player not only that he dropped most of the hero's of that series during next few home tours. All the miseries that Rohit went through was his own fault. Handing over ODI captaincy to Rohit should have been done long back. For convenience sake they had same captain for all 3 formats given that Kohli was good in all formats. This is where we lacked vision. It is a different challenge captaining a limited over side. Kohli neither had luck nor had the skill to be a successful LOI captain. In the selection meeting they did talk about kohli's toss winning ability before removing him lol He has become that notorious. Vijy and raki05 2

I think the narrator is clear there was some competition until 2009 but Kohli decimated that competition with both Suresh Raina and Rohit Sharma after that tri-series. Nobody is talking about any rift when Rohit himself is going through miseries. The narrator just set the prologue in his first video to cover the initial period of 2007-13. I think the rift is all about ODI/T20I captaincy and nothing else. You yourself admit that "Handling over ODI captaincy to Rohit should have been done long back".

Basically, he is saying Kohli demands a lot from the players and drops them on the first sight of non-performance ruthlessly like they do in Australia. This is far from being correct as explained by @raki05. He prefers his friends/cronies and "non-star" material like Rayudu, Jadhav, KD Karthik, Ishant etc. as they don't pose any brand threat to him. Sometimes his selections are very random and players are highly insecure playing under him. I don't think Australian teams make players so insecure. They have high standards but they do tend to back players with potential even if the numbers are not that good. Take for e.g. Symonds, who had no great numbers but was backed by Australian team as they know that on his day he is a match winner with both bat and ball. He is talking as if all Rohit was doing from 2013-19 was winning an IPL every other year and getting injured for the rest of the year. This is certainly over exaggerating the reality. Agreed that Rohit got injured now and then but he has steadily became an important cog in India's ODI set up crunching up many big scores and increasing his average to great highs. All these are conveniently relegated to some asterix remarks and he was just emphasizing the injury part. raki05 1
nevada Posted December 13, 2021 Posted December 13, 2021 It's a bit sad that off field drama is beginning to overshadow on-field proceedings. Kohli's ouster is a relief but not the end goal. Rohit will be 35 in January. If he has a lean run, Kohli's PR could amp up the noise to bring him back. Hoping for a good 12-18 months from Rohit to steer Indian cricket into a better direction, with a positive and pro-active selection culture. raki05 and beetle 2
