Preferred 11 for Eng LOIs (2022 tour to Eng)

I would prefer if candidates for the T20 WC squad are played in both T20s & ODIs ... Below is my preferred 11: 

 

Gill - if KL is unavailable, want to see him get a run 

Hooda

Samson

SKY

SDP

DK 

Thakur (if batting well) or D Chahar (if fit) or Sundar (as he can bowl in PP) or Harshal (if batting well)

Umran -> for x-factor & to give him more experience 

Shami, if bowling well (or Harshal if D Chahar is playing) 

Bumrah

Yuzi

I am least bother about ODI right now...we can start preparing for it after 2022 T20 WC.

In any case the top 6 of ODI team is already set and they will play in 2023. Just need to prepare backups.

@zen 5th test ends on 5th July,  1st T20 on 7 July in Rose bowl Southampton so rest assured Kohli Pant Bumrah Jadeja are rested.  Rohit if it isn't fit to play Test will lead T20 team.

Why do we need dk who is nearing 40? Don't we have one freaking player who can be a power hitter and at his peak?

DK has tailored his game for T20s (focused on one format due to IPL) … Much improved cricketer who brings value with his 360 batting … His selection would be form dependent (and not as an investment) as the WC is only a few months away

his career only sums up one thing lack of understanding of using a player in right format n right position

His age, his performance in other formats or other batting position doesnt matter ........what matters is what he does on the role he is given
