nevada Posted December 14, 2025 Posted December 14, 2025 The end is nigh as he seems to be in irreversible decline, but I thank him for his service and contributions, the most notable of which is the catch in the T20 WC final. For someone who got his first international cap in his 30s, he has had a very good run, achieving the #1 rank in batting, winning the WC and captaining the side. None of these seemed possible a few years ago as he seemed destined to end up without ever getting selected to the National team. cricspirit 1
Tillu Posted December 14, 2025 Posted December 14, 2025 He is a national treasure for winning 2 tosses in a row during these tough times. nevada, helperononline, Frustrated and 1 other 4
Cloud9 Posted December 14, 2025 Posted December 14, 2025 Forget Indian pitches,Imagine him on Srilanka pitches against Pakistan at WC
cricketfan28 Posted December 14, 2025 Posted December 14, 2025 Very worrying ..looks like it's over for him.
Manucrick Posted December 14, 2025 Posted December 14, 2025 I think sky won't going to lead India in upcoming wc management will drop sky and select gill as the captain Ultimate_Game 1

(Despite him failing in that Final match with the bat, as expected). He will be remembered 4ever for that catch. Nothing else to show for, in his career. BCCI jokers made him play one test as well. No wonder he barely last 10 balls in both innings.

Not one game-changing innings and no-show against better teams. All he can do is score cheap runs in bi-laterals against 2nd XI bowling attacks. Cometh big matches or better bowlers you see SKY fail as usual. Frustrated 1

The Realist Posted December 19, 2025 Posted December 19, 2025 Washed up. Any serious team would have moved on rather than stubbornly back a 36 year old as captain. BacktoCricaddict 1

WIthin short period he signed up a lot of sponsors. Probably 3 year contract or something? So they have to keep him in the action even he plays beautifully only in the nets

Gollum Posted December 20, 2025 Posted December 20, 2025 This clown stirred up the 'no handshake' drama as a diversion tactic due to poor form. He has been the worst batsman in T20Is this year, even associate teams won't pick such a useless guy.
kosingh Posted December 20, 2025 Posted December 20, 2025 Our specialist bowlers can bat better than SKY now.

Gollum Posted December 20, 2025 Posted December 20, 2025 Now that he is picked as captain, full support to SKY. May he have a dream WC and deliver us the trophy. tapandrun, BacktoCricaddict and rollingstoned 1 2
