Prabhdeep Singh Posted August 6, 2022 Posted August 6, 2022 Rohit Sharma 477 sixes in international cricket (all formats), only 2nd behind Chris Gayle: raki05, Forward Defence and nevada 2 1
Forward Defence Posted August 6, 2022 Posted August 6, 2022 (edited) Doing extremely well on the no of sixes/innings front as well Edited August 6, 2022 by Forward Defence

zen Posted August 6, 2022 Posted August 6, 2022 Combining formats to add runs/wkts/whatever is an Ind thing to do
coffee_rules Posted August 6, 2022 Posted August 6, 2022 Fitness issue post captaincy. Missed more matches than he captained. But the timid d approach in the last WC is history. Lord 1

Forward Defence Posted August 6, 2022 Posted August 6, 2022 Rohit is 4th in the list of ODI six hitters , about a 100 behind Afridi. In T20s he is 2nd behind Guptill. Rohit has a high six hitting rate in tests but he hasn't played too many. Pant will eventually dominate that test six hitting record. Already has 48 sixes in 31 matches. Mccullum is no 1 with 107 but Stokes will probably overtake him soon.

vvvslaxman Posted August 7, 2022 Posted August 7, 2022 In Australia in one dayers he has hit 34 plus sixes in 30 innings. Second best is Dhoni 16 sixes in 31 innings. Third best Kohli 12 sixes in 29 innings. Highest number of sixes by a non-Australian in Australia. Just above Richards and Afridi.

Australia has the largest grounds in the world and hence probably not many sixes scored by visitors there.
