If he can consistently handle 18th and 20th over liek this he definitely has a spot. Didn't they back Natrajan exclusively for this who himself was not really a good batsman. Infact he even played a Test match.

Natrajan played 4 matches and there is a reason why he did not have long career. He played test match purely due to covid. So no there is no role for so called specialist death bowler. He has to go back to drawing board and learn to add swing in his arsenal.

 

He is not tall enough nor does he have pace to be great death bowler.
