Discussion is about Rajapaksa and Pant.

But why comparing rajpaksha and pant. Pant is a wk bat. Rajpaksha is a specialist batsman.

In T20I it’s Rajapaksha, I have never seen pant play an innings like this under pressure.

Younger doesn't count much in T20s. Younger means fearless. You should be good enough to produce results at this level and not wait to become 28-29 year old to produce the odds.

We'd aim for 140 straightaway after 58/5

They are comparable in T20s, left hander, aggressive batsman play in middle order.

 

Warner vs Buttler for example is a keeper vs batsman too but fair comparison in T20s.

That's also correct. All teams have batting till number 9-10. Ours have tailenders after number 6. Also we have highlhly inconsistent mo, as Dravid kept experimenting during biletral never defined the role made sky, Hooda and pant opener messed up their mind , played Karthik as finisher in all biletral and then in main event wiped out everything. Made kela opener, brought Kohli at first down , dropped dk and made Hooda bat at 7.

raja(paksha) is better in T20s comfortably. however, raja is more experienced and has a better defined role.

Pant's has more or less been defined as middle order batsman

They tried him as opener to explore more

But even if he had succeeded there, Kela and Rohit were always your openers

kelly (KL) needs to drop down. he sucks massively as opener. not saying bunt should play there either. try a slogger like shaw perhaps
