Sundar 's fitness is such that he may get niggle  even during this 2 odi

He looks thin, wiry. But flexibility is something he has to work on.

1) Finger injury (twice)

2) COVID

3) Hamstring Pull

4) Should injury (while fielding)

some of the issues unavoidable. But having one after another make him look unfit. Some of the injuries didn't last long. But long enough to be kept him out.

The seniority queue system is still followed by Chetan Sharma and Co.

The spots are rotated between superstars who take breaks, ie Virat,Rahul, etc and injured players who make an appearance and again gets niigle out,Ie Chahar,Sundar.

Why the selectors are not looking beyond the seniority queue.

As Bumrah ,Shami are injured and Chahar was going to be Bumrah. 's replacement, why was he selected for the odi squad. The spot could have gone to any young pacer

In T20 you have to break the rules as much as possible.

I don't think any of these is a result of lack of immunity. His only issue is he is part deaf.

You can get injured easier and recovery time is slow I guess with low immunity.

Being part deaf has no impact on it.

I think it is important when you get injured. Most of the time he gets injured right before the tour begins or series begins. That way he is a bit unlucky. Siraj broke his fingers in the test before test started. Then shoulder injury right before zimbabwe series.

taller blokes are prone to having more issues with their flexibility, and in general are more prone to such injuries - finger injury is obviously bad luck.   Washi has a very high ceiling in my view, but he needs to double down on fitness work, if he wants to maximize his potential.
