All said and done, lucky or unlucky he has to find a way to stay injury free even if it is not in his hand. Lot of players go without injuries for years.

Is this the only picture of Ishant Sharma you could find?

Just yesterday, they did emergency fitness test and he passed? It all seems arbitrary and suspicious.

Ya if he was not select he would have been unfit. Even I was under the impression he is still unfit. So we all know now how bcci tackle fit/unfit update.

Ahh ... that's what they meant when they told Washi "Whenever there's a dire need, we will fit you in."

I don't think any of these is a result of lack of immunity. His only issue is he is part deaf.

Yes true. He has been unlucky to get injured just before the series. He need to find a way to stay fit. Or he could very well be labelled suspect injury prone and sidelined from selections.

His utility in tests and ODI has serious potential. Impressive temperament from the lad. Not many superstars from India could have hold fort like him in Gabba, the test against pommies in India. Played clutch innings.

In T20, he is good containing bowler currently, he need to improve his power hitting. His defence is good

If Sundar was fit for the past 3 months, would he have replaced Ash or Hooda?

No. Hooda is a batsman. Washington mainly a bowler in shorter formats although they may promote him today. Hooda is ahead since his debut in January.

Ashwin also a bowler but superior.
