And not talking about the dismissal only. 

 

He displayed these issues throughout both his short innings in that match.

Gill has issues against incoming delivery ,shaw has issues against incoming delivery as well, kishan and iyer can't play bounce, issues to sabke hai to kya kare bhai

Channel ball yes but when ball is moving its bound to effect ur feet movement

Yes, they have issues. Which is why it is important to pinpoint them early on and rectify them.

Pushing at deliveries outside off, with front foot stuck, is not something everyone does.

 

I rate Dhull very highly, which is why it is important that he corrects this issue now rather than after a few international match failures.

 

Gill and Shaw have not been able to realize their potential till now because they did not sort out their technical issues early on.

 

Don't want it happen with Dhull and Jaiswal.

I am not watching these matches live just looking at scorecards and its disappointing to see so many <150 scores.. clubbing tier 3 north east teams and now pitches also seem to be less favorable for batters... barely any 180+ scores in this tourney while most T20 Internationals in India we get to see 180/200 scores.. its almost as if we are playing SMA to get prepared for pitches  in Gulf countries

Yhh he plays on the up and looked slightly out of sorts against saurashtra recently, dhull thou has great ability of picking up length early, patidar has the same ability but controls his wrist at the last moment, patidar may just be the most complete batsman in India right now, hopefully he plays all three formats.

Bro he was sent as a pinch hitter and he tried a few cross batted slogs, connected a few including a six off Saini's bouncer and then got out. Looked a bit uncomfortable by the pace and bounce on this pitch. Need to see more of his batting. As of now looks like a lower order batsman with some hitting ability.

Dhull copies Steve Smith's trigger movement against pace ... he almost jumps to an off stump position during his back and  across movement. 

 

And handles the short ball rather well. Cuts snd pulls viciously. 

 

But this jerky trigger movement probably disbalances him momentarily ... which is why he finds it difficult to move his front foot on occasions.

 

A slightly smoother trigger movement can solve this issue IMHO.

Remember Rahane sent Jaiswal out of the ground for disciplinary reasons? I am not sure if he is still being penalized for that?
