India's chances

1) Ball has to swing crazy only when India bowls and when India bats pitch should become very flat

2) SKY pulling off like 5 or 6 blinders like Trentbridge hopefully in a winning cause

3) All the trundlers picking up a niggle and replaced by new guys.

Pakistan, England and Australia - not in order. They have constructed their squads very well and are the most likely to do well.

India still talks about intent and aggression whereas those teams have very strong basics as well - left handers to hit away spin . Part time off spin option to match up with left handed batters, good hard length pace options for middle and death, skilled PP bowlers etc.

We have taken a specialist offspinner in a squad of 15 and no LHB in the top order in the first XI in the year 2022.

Mind boggling.

Australia - They fluked last year. Flukes don't happen twice in a row. So less chances. Apart from that, their important batsmen are in poor form.

Pakistan - They don't enjoy bouncy pitches. Very less chances.

West Indies - Same as Pakistan.

South Africa - Looks good, but death bowling and Bavuma at the top are big concerns.

England - Batting is good. Bowling has variety, but that's about it. All bowlers are below average-average.

India - Batting is the best amongst all teams while at the same time, fast bowling is the weakest amongst all major teams. So bowling offsets the strong batting.

Based on above, I strongly believe the finalists will be among India/South Africa/Australia.
