They are & some of that, if not a lot, has to do with the experience of playing in the IPL. I'm specifically referring to their performance in LO, pretty much all of their transformation happened under Morgan & he was the first regular pick in India (IPL) - now you could argue whether these incidents were purely coincidental i.e. just a random happenstance or one led to another. I'm inclined to believe the latter & as far as playing overseas (starts) in IPL is concerned whether you agree or not is moot. Playing in India for 10+ years has given enormous confidence to loads of foreign stars including Watson (2008) then MJ (2013) & Stokes/Buttler (2016 onwards) among others. So basically these guys have experience of playing on Indian surfaces & yet none of our potential superstars feature in outside leagues, speaking just about LO cricket here, which gives the others a massive advantage that's just something you can't brush off!

Even that Mandeep. I think he is playing since first season. Only saving grace was Sandeep Sharma went unsold.
