Why was Umran Malik discarded so early but Harshal Patel is still getting selected?

The current selection mindset seems to be pathetic tbh.

 

trundlers like Avesh, Harshal, even Bhuvi keep getting chances in spite of getting hit because they are line & length, variation nonsense.

 

while quicks like Umran, Siraj get discarded if they go for runs because they don't have control. Its good Chetan Sharama may be out with the new management, we need some new thinking.

Harshal Patel is an All-rounder who is not like other All-rounder who is an All-round failure but is an All phase bowler who is Match up to Large grounds in Australia and is a Death bowling specialist when there is Dearth of bowling specialist who more often than not are always fazed bowler who cannot bowl Flighted Slower Ball and are just known as ketchup.
