To do List which BCCI chief Mr. Binny Should Pick Up.

1. Ask every short listed Pacer who may be considered to represent INDIA (Main Team) to give a SPEED Test.  He should be asked to Bowl 12 balls in 9 minutes ( 4.5 min for 1 over) and Speed should be measured for each ball. The Average Speed of each ball should be calculated. if the average Speed is less than 136K, He should not be considered to play for INDIA. One more point to be noted is that the Pitch should be a bit greenish - Kind of similar to an Australian or English or NZ wicket and not a Flat PATTA.

 

2. Create a few Very Green Wickets- fully Green wickets so that batsman learn how to bat on these wickets.

    Create a Few Greenish wickets ( Little bit of mud can also be visible but mostly Green).

    Create a Bouncy wicket.

     Create a Spin friendly wicket which has a bit for Pacers too.

      ensure NOT even a Single  PATTA Pitch- on which state level matches or Ranji Or  India Matches are played.  even a no 11 batsman some times can manage  to hit a 30 to 50 runs on Indian pitta's.

    Indian Batsman need practice on fastish pitches in India itself. 

 

3.  Even State Teams Should keep a minimum Speed limit of probably 132K average , if a fast bowler cannot manage to bowl a 132K average using a new ball in a 12 ball spell within 9 Minutes, He does not deserve to represent even Indian State Teams. Pitch should be Greenish.

 

4. Encourage Pace All rounders - guys who can bowl around 130 - 140 K Pace and also Bat well.

5. Spin Bowlers should be asked to become Spin bowling All rounders. All over the world Spinners playing for International teams have some batting skills also. So concept of ONLY SPINNERS is going away. yes there are fast bowlers who dont bat well( actually even our bumrah can bat a little now). Play Spinners who bat too for INDIA. just see the value of All rounders. All rounder should be a clear All rounder not like DUBEY or vijay shankar ( guys who bowl dibbly dobbly pace and Bat).

6. Fielding Skills and Athletic Skills should be very High. Players now a days are very good fielders.

Something to encourage women cricket. Like in Hundred, they have both men and women playing on same day same ground. On one ticket.

 

My suggestion is to ask foreign boards to send their women teams as well as men's team when they tour us. Sell the rights to broadcasters together.

What if they don't have batting talent.

Where will teams like Assam, Arunachal, Pondicherry find them. And what about Natarajan, Arshdeep, etc. who can bowl very well.

Do something about ticket prices. Also, remove the compulsion to buy offline ticket when you have it online.

Good idea but broadcasters won't be too interested in Women LOIs during daytime as prime time Evening slots would be taken by Men's team. 

Shadow tours might be feasible though.

Focus on infrastructure where we get more and more world class facilities for both international and domestic matches. 

 

Many of the stadiums are an eyesore and lack proper facilities including fast drainage. Pitches can be improved too depending on the specialities of various regions.

Atleast use consistent speedguns in domestic tournaments like Ranji Trophy, Irani Trophy, SMAT, VH Trophy.
Use the money to ensure the proper telecast of all domestic matches on OTT's like Hotstar.

Make sure our next LOI captain is Hardik not KL from same state

1.  To put in place a proper system of selecting the selectors.  Selectors must have a proper vision and knowledge about the modern game. They should not be ones who just pick players based on domestic cricket stats, but should be ones who have a good idea about what types of players work in international cricket. 

 

 

2.  To create 3 Co-ordinators for Fast Bowlers .. Batsmen .. Spin bowlers

The function if these Co-ordinators would be to oversee and manage the smooth transition of talented Pre-international cricketers from Junior Level / State Level to International Team.

 

So many of the talented youngsters are getting stuck or getting lost in the system. They are not getting sufficient games for their state teams even, despite being Team India prospects. A good example is Prasidh Krishna who warmed the bench for Karnataka for a very long time despite bring identified as a prospect.

 

 

3. To see to it that those talented youngsters, who barely miss the bus for the U19 World Cup, are not lost in the system for a long time.

allow our cricketers to play some leagues keeping these things in mind

 

• leagues shudnt clash with domestic 
• In case leagues clash domestic make exception for only aged guys like Nehra (cud have done before 2016 t20 Wc) or DK (since he cant be in criteria for other formats) , still make sure they play SMA . 
• IF they are selected for India-A , then dont allow them to skip A-tours 

IF someone like Natarajan , kuldeep sen, Khaleel, venky iyer play these leagues i dont see how we will loose the IPL branding since they arent brands themselves. In return they ll improve their skillset massively

More focus on IPL and Test cricket. Abandon T20 World cup.

* Have fixed home season calender, minimum 6 test matches per Indian home season

 

* Have 2 Tri Series with the 2 touring sides,  1 in ODI format and 1 in T20 format, India can get better at winning finals (replicate ICC tournaments), maximum 10 matches including final/both formats. Easily possible, rather than having 2 five match meaningless bilateral series.

 

* Have more regular A Tours in SENA

I want to enjoy women white ball games but i dont. Am sure i am not the only one so i do agree boradcasters wont be interested in the bundle approach

Target audience is not for the likes of you , it's for young females , mums and people who enjoy all cricket .  Women's cricket is the biggest growth in cricket today and when men such as Nasser Hussain, Simon Doull, Darren Sammy etc are pitching up with women's cricket and English women's cricket can get regular spectator numbers of 15,000 the potential in India is huge and for their women to dominate in years to come .
