improve length and take catches , liton das edged one of bhuvi ball which was cud have gone on our side with a bit of luck. Litton made all the difference that day

If sky is due for a failure so is mark wood 

 

yes against better batting side in batting conditions bowling cushion is needed , batting cushion isnt since their bowling isnt that great............if we collapse to fir batsman ki galti hai

I think harshal is good for 2 middle overs and some quick 10 runs down the order.

Team should be picked for the ground conditions .. that square boundary will get peppered .. would almost prefer getting harshal in with wide slow Yorkers .. will be hard to hit square for a six ..Ash’s mid pitching bowling is just standing up nice place .. he probably need to slow down lot more adelliade

Guys, don’t take too much tension. All Indian batsmen going to be bounced out cheaply against Eng. India playing last match of this tournament. Unless Kohli & KLR gives a great start.

even then Harshal over Axar makes sense. Eng has 4 lefties in top 8 and Axar is not bowled when left hander is at crease.

 

Better to back a pacer over spinner on these tracks

u cant bat harshal at 7 neither ashwin, now matter how low axar batting ability is his batting is still better then both 

Harshal record against lefties has been poor , if lefties is a logic. Hiding Axar is also fine coz at the end he is just 6th bowler and a cushion . England best batters are right handers - Butler, Livingstone , hales, brook.  Malan is struggling with injury 

 

Harshal shud come if needed only in place of a bowler not axar, dont go so thin on batting too in a pressure game

Ashwin is batting better than Axar. Axar is better v spin, but at no. 7 you rarely face spin. And he's not good enough to bat higher.

 

Harshal can work vs both RHB and LHB. Most important there is nothing in tracks for Axar so even righties can line him up and hit through line.

 

Would use Harshal in middle, he can extract something out of the pitch.

No one is talking about Chahal, I won't be surprised if Dravid takes a punt on him considering SENA teams struggle against leg spin in general.

It means he plays high risk cricket. He may be gone in first few balls. He has been amazingly consistent but we will all have to accept that some days those scoops will go to hand and spin may get him initially.
