Why do people still believe Kela has future as ODI middle order bat ?

Yes I know he has some good stats at no. 4 and 5 in ODIs.

But do people think he can come in when we need 150 to win in 20 overs and take us home ?

Do people think he can come in the middle of collapse or a mini collpase and stablize the innings unless it is a minnow attack ?

I seriously don't know how can people judge this guy on stats alone and not on the temperament he has displayed across his 8 years old career ?

he is mentally weak. that no. 4 or no. 5 should be for pandu or SKY or samson

KL can play quickfire knock in 1st inning but in second inning, he won't be capable of chasing anything under pressure.

 

He will probably bat slowly, try to follow the Dhoni art of taking deep and then end up playing a match losing knock. An example of that would be an ODI game in Australia 2020-21 tour. Rahul got 76(71) something but India lost quite comfortably.

There should be zero chance after this. He has to lead atleast his state side to a title. Bare minimum requirement to even think of coming back.
