While people do bring up heavy domestic scorers for middle order slots but as is our experience many of them have looked out of depth for internationals e.g. Vihari.

I think someone who has already shown that he belongs to this level is Washington Sundar. He has shown good technique and temperament against both pace and spin.

We don't need him to replace Jaddu at 7 or Ashwin at 8, rather he can be a good middle order batsman.

Hope selectors show some vision and start phasing out over the hill, out of form seniors and include him and give him a long run.

They had to accommodate KL & Brat, chances of Sundar being picked over any of these two is still near zero after this test! Assuming fat ass comes back for BGT only Gill will drop out of this squad, Jadeja should also come in - this win ensures KL will not go anywhere barring any untoward injury

As if they are reading this. As if they care to implement changes. Its pointless to look for a solution to our problems when we have been discussing for 3 years and nothing has been done. In fact under Dravid and Rohit the team went 10 notches down.

I agree. He didn't get a fair chance honestly. Now he is out of A teams as well. It seems like they don't rate him at all now.

The team management is comfortable only with certain players ant they make sure that the replacement selected is such that he can easily be thrown out.

 

Jadeja will return to playing 11 with no threat to his spot as team management persisted with Axar instead of Sundar,Kuldeep ,Bishnoi,Tewatia.

 

Rahul will take vacation for marriage and he will walk in the playing 11 as Hooda,Eashwaran will be selected instead of Jaiswal,Sarfaraz,Patidar

If sundar comes in then Jadeja is not needed.

There are enough young batsmen in this country so no need to have a bits and pieces player like Sundar in the team.

One way is try 4-5 top domestic scorers. Needless to say unless we are very lucky they will be short of international class i.e. Vihari.

Another way is give long rope to guy who has shown he belongs to this level and far exceeded expectations. I'd rather go 2nd way.
