This is a flat wicket. It will turn later. Good toss to win for Pak. Now NZ don't bazball so 400 is probably out of their reach but you never know. Williamson might perform now as he isn't the captain.

The only similarity between the two "boxing day"  tests was the number of spectators, there were 65K at MCG and 65 at Karachi.

Why is that though ? Test cricket isn't popular at all in Pak ? There's plenty of youngsters (college types) that can make it to the stadium before they get busy with work.

Only in n.z. he doesn't score anything in India. Survives at best. 

Same with Elgar. Only can score in SA. He doesn't do much in India whatsoever.

This is quite depressing to watch from pakistan. Where is the fight. Land of pace bowlers. Where is the pace? Shaheen injury so thats understandable. Naseem already broke down? Rauf also damaged from t20? They really are poor bowlers in test format. Such a shame.

It's not about the bowlers. Its about the pitches being extremely flat highways.

 

Back in 2017 during India's tour to Srilanka, a despicable oldman on pp by the name Junaids proclaimed "Does runs in Srilanka even count" as a dig at Indians doing well in Srilanka. Now the same question should be asked if runs in Pakistan even count. They are preparing highways to inflate their batting averages.

Poyzz bowling getting exposed since Aus toured Pak early this year.   They were over-dependent on Shaheen.. In his absence, bowling continues to look toothless.
