Acc to sports tak, only Jadeja and Bumrah were not available for selection, rest all were including the big 3 , so they are dropped. KL Rahul asked rest in NZ series for marriage but not SL series. well done selectors

They want a leftie and they have found one who can keep wickets in Kishan. So, that just puts Dhawan and Pant in sidelines. Pant can be brought back but I hope Kishan does well as he is an aggressive opener and I don't want to see Dhawan back in the ODI team.

Since Dravid is a Ganguly appointee, the chances of him getting taken out would have been quite high in the normal course of events. But the man who replaced Ganguly is also from Karnataka.

they are looking to keep these rahuls as long as possible. the kela-drabid combination is lethal - like being exposed to cosmic rays in the international space station; one can survive for a few years, but beyond that, death (of ind cricket) will ensue
