This is why you don't bowl well or show up a set batsmen like Kohli with death overs batting. Maybe if you bowled and fielded and batted like chahal, you would get selected.

They dropped Pant so that they can justify selecting Uncle KL in the team.

Considering Dhawan captained in some of the recent series I dont see how we can't be delighted at the pleasant surprise that he has been dropped from the squad altogether for this series.

Not sure what they are doing with Shaw,Patidar,Bishnoi. Shaw has been ignored for eternity. Patidar will eventually get the chance. Bishnoi non-selection looks like a personal grudge from our sooperstars

Patidar, Rinku Singh, tripathi are all the right age to get chances. Not that young but considering we have a stale top order it needs a refresh and some new faces with a point to prove. I like seeing even jamodi series where there are new players playing provided its not in a position n role where they are not set up to fail.

Dhawan gone and Kl wont find a place in X1 with Surya in the squad. 

Arshdeep is good for odis. We need a death bowler left armer.. 

 

As far as T20 goes. Shaw should hv bewn selected in place of rituraj also Tewatiya for axar. 

Anyways atleast they got few things right.
