Chakdephatte Posted February 10, 2023 Posted February 10, 2023 2020 was his first bad year after long. He was given a leeway. Last year, Rahane was worse than him. After than KL Rahul became the soft target. After this series, Pujara may be dropped, in comparison, Kohli will be made look good. How long he be in the team as our second worst batsman. sandeep 1
Chakdephatte Posted February 10, 2023 Author Posted February 10, 2023 (edited) SKY doesn't have a sound technique but carries from T20s. Gill doesn't have form in this format but solid technique. Kohli doesn't have any of these. Don't know why they are calling SKY a bad choice, that's called focusing on wrong problems. Edited February 10, 2023 by Chakdephatte

Lord Posted February 10, 2023 Posted February 10, 2023 Kohli atleast has past performances and decent form in LOIs. What does Rahul have? Why is he treated like a star

Bcci is probably worried about marketability. BGT is a marquee series so they want as many eyes as possible on the series even if its negative for the team. Kohli will be there in the wtc final too

I was all for him getting chances in whiteball cricket but in test cricket his lack of technque has been exposed enough for him to be kicked out. It is not an issue of form, it is issue of his basic technique against all types of bowlers. nevada 1
Stan AF Posted February 10, 2023 Posted February 10, 2023 I think he has realized that his end is near and if he gets dropped now there's no way in hell he's coming back inside the team given the amount of batters that are waiting in the wings.
vvvslaxman Posted February 10, 2023 Posted February 10, 2023 Ravi shastri suggested him taking part in Ranji trophy with a view that he can address his spin issues. Oh well.. He doesn't care.

Nash Posted February 10, 2023 Posted February 10, 2023 On freeways in USA , second faster car won’t get a ticket. Cops are always looking for faster car. This technique is mastered by our senior players. For example , Keep KL Rahul in the team and his failure will overshadow Kohli or pujara’s failure. I want whoever play for india irrespective of form, caste, religion or parts which they are coming to b successful. good luck to KL and Kohli. Hope to see some good runs from both. sandeep 1
Bigg Brother Posted February 10, 2023 Posted February 10, 2023 His days are over. Can't believe Kohli declining this way, abysmal totally.
BacktoCricaddict Posted February 10, 2023 Posted February 10, 2023 (edited) This TO/MO could be readied for the future by simply replacing Rahul, Pujara and SKY with Gill, Sarfaraz/Iyer and Sundar. Gill, Iyer and Sundar have already proven their test-cricket chops. And Sarfaraz ... well, FC beast who deserves a shot. There may be some growing pains under difficult conditions, but can't be much worse. Edited February 10, 2023 by BacktoCricaddict

I once got pulled over in a speedtrap by the Delaware NJ border - about 5 cop cars - and I wasn't even speeding that bad - my mistake was that I changed lanes and slowed down when I saw the cop cars - that was enough for them to mark me to get pulled over. Key is to curb that instinct to step on the brakes or change lanes - just ease off the gas pedal. Since then I have not gotten caught speeding on road trips. Knock on wood. So true but sometimes you get a ticket as they need to get their quota. I got a ticket once for not looking at all directions at stop sign.Who has time to argue with those cops. singhprakash72 1
