And before someone says one format player, is there enough evidence for it. Give him more chances in One dayers even when he hasn't quite launched himself.

Yes. Check his last 15  matches or so. We keep forgetting number of overs bowled by good bowlers on the trot is less in T20. At best you bowl one or two overs  where they dynamics are completely different. Wicket preservation is a lot more important when you have 4 dud tailenders

Is bowling quality his issue? He hit Hasaranga, Siraj, Hazlewood in same match. Problem is that we are analysing him based on random dismissals.

Random dismissals is not an option fora MO batsman in ODI. You could walk in at 10/3 you could walk in at 200/3 you have to adapt.  So far guys like Iyer, Samson displayed that trait better.  Pitch might slow down sometimes in the late overs. You have to adapt to that as well. Trying to convert him in to a ODI expert at 32 will end up ruining his t20 game as well

Isn't he almost a regular in odi setup. 23 matches, which is same as Shubman Gill. It hasn't messed up his game so far.

Remember when Sky's three ducks was the talking point on Instagram and twitter? Four poor innings in different formats and people were already writing his epitaph. Even this IPL, he 'coincidentally' started with a string of low scores and people made a narrative out of it.

No.

Who uses Instagram to get into cricket debates?

Troll pages have millions of followers. Okay, several lakhs if not millions.

These new age IPL fans who have popped up in recent times are stupid and annoying AF. Stay away from those if you don't want to lose brain cells.

It is ok to joke but immature to judge players based on a limited time frame whether for their successes or failures … Every cricketer (there can be exceptions) goes through a good and bad phase.

One should only be worried if the cricketer is past his prime.

He helped us win a WC? He helped us beat pak recently?

Did he play a clutch game vs a top aide in semis? Dint think so.

He is a t20 batsman. Good one. That's it. He is a waste of space in 50 overs and tests.

As I said many times a guy like SKY will matches on his own on his day. We need those player.

He will be just fine in Odis too.

I would play him in tests too.

With his shitty technique vs spin and swing? Yea no thanks. He would be a walking wicket in tests. He has been so far useless in odi too.

Can only play 10 overs Max.
