You play to win, if you're so concerned about Spirit just go on a tirth yatra! And Poms/Oz are the worst offenders when it comes to this fake spirit of the game BS, cheats vs convicts :om:

Your sentence, with its artful repetition of the word "spirit," has cunningly employed the hidden magic to summon me, dear R!TTER

England cannot take moral high ground on this either. Stuart Broad of all people should not be lecturing about spirit of the game. Aussies are now saying they did everything by the book,  then why were they whinging when Broad did not walk, Broad had every right to stand his ground.

Stuart Broad is the same wanker who appealed for a lbw against Bhajji in 2014 tour despite there being a MASSIVE inside edge

Where was the spirit of the game to call back Harbhajan as it was a incorrect decision

Yes, next time when the batsman overbalances the wicket keeper should just tell the batsman that he is leaving the crease and not stump him

We criticize our desis to be whining, but these gora takes it to another level.

MCC-waalas can indulge in as much Wendy rona as they want. The fact is, its within the laws of the game.
If they find it unsportsmanlike, the can petition to change this law.

20.1.2 The ball shall be considered to be dead when it is clear to the bowler’s end umpire that the fielding side and both batters at the wicket have ceased to regard it as in play.

I think this law needs to be amended to have better clarity. when it is clear to the bowler’s end umpire that the fielding side and both batters at the wicket have ceased to regard it as in play has a lot of ambiguity.

2011 second test, Harbhajan reviewed actually but due to the "partial" DRS review system in that series Marais *ing Erasmus' howler stood & he got a hattrick!

Just like Mankading, if the aggrieved parties feel so strongly about this particular law they should petition to change it. Otherwise calling other teams out even when they are playing by the book is uncalled for.

Poms have won matches/tournaments on obscure laws like higher boundary counts and overthrows bouncing off a Pommie batter.

Just suck on your pacifiers or whatever else takes your fancy ECB.
