BacktoCricaddict Posted August 8, 2023 Posted August 8, 2023 He has shown ability and maturity beyond his years. At long last, a victory for the selectors. Hope this shuts the door on KLR in T20s. Now, just get Jaiswal cracking at opener and Rinku Singh in as a finisher at #6. Mogambo khush. Kothili, raki05, Vijy and 5 others 1 7
vvvslaxman Posted August 8, 2023 Posted August 8, 2023 Hope him and Jaiswal focus on a bit of bowling too unlike our trimurthis. raki05 1
Sooda Posted August 8, 2023 Posted August 8, 2023 I know there was a series to be won but we should have tried his offspin in these matches too , with a view to seeing if he could be a late wild card World Cup selection Norman, Frustrated, BacktoCricaddict and 1 other 4
Sgattick10 Posted August 8, 2023 Posted August 8, 2023 I haven't seen him in IPL but in this series he has been the stand out for me.. He has the jigra to go for big runs at the begining of his innings BacktoCricaddict, express bowling and raki05 3
Frustrated Posted August 8, 2023 Posted August 8, 2023 Excellent start to his career. Hopefully, he could be the light at the end of the tunnel for us. (By sealing the No.4 slot in Odi). Probably the only takeaway from this tour of windies. raki05 and express bowling 2
Gollum Posted August 8, 2023 Posted August 8, 2023 Kohli and Rohit want spotlight for themselves, you guys seriously think they will be happy with emergence of Jasiwal and Tilak? Expecting sabotage. sorak, wazza, tweaker and 3 others 1 2 3

Expecting sabotage. Nah they know they're done for and that the end is near. Rohit is definitely a gonner after the world cup and looking at Kohli's recent interviews, won't be surprised if even he calls it a day. Frustrated 1

Jaiswal used to bowl decent leggies in U19 days... Wonder what is Dravid smoking that he didn't even try him in those Test matches. Vijy and raki05 2
tweaker Posted August 9, 2023 Posted August 9, 2023 This team management is known to screw young players.Rahul Dravid was a u 19 and A team coach He knows most of this young players. He should have been instrumental in phasing out seniors and helping young players to find their spots in the main team. Jaiswal,Rinku,Sarfaraz,Patidar,Ruturaj ,Bishnoi,Sen,Imran,Tyagi should have been part of the squad. raki05, Vijy, express bowling and 1 other 4

Lord Posted August 10, 2023 Posted August 10, 2023 Bigger tests await him. Won't be too excited just yet. However good to see new guys. Should try Rinku,Sai Sudarshan and Jitesh too. BacktoCricaddict 1

He can at best be accumulator in middle over. For that spot, I want someone who can bowl.

I would still keep him in the mix for the no. 4 position. the no. 4 position does not have to bowl.
