Not sure why Jaiswal is being looked at, as he brings in lhb advantage. Gaikwad is another pussy batsman that Dravid would like to die for to see in the dressing room And Rohit too would go for a more fancy pussy like Gaikwad Edited October 11, 2023 by Suhaan nevada, Norman, Frustrated and 7 others 1 7 1 1 Link to comment

Because if he scores 100 of 50 deliveries, then he will take away all the limelight from the other stalwarts who are chasing some legendary records. Gaikwad is good but doesn't bring that threat factor which Yashasvi brings. Norman, Number, nevada and 1 other 1 3 Link to comment

I think Gaekwad isn't bad, he seems as a decent player & hardworking as well. It's just that Jaiswal is on a different level in terms of potential, maybe bit mercurial but he has that explosive nature which you don't see in many. rollingstoned and express bowling 2 Link to comment
Nikhil_cric
Gaikwad? No. *uck No. That guy had no intent whatsoever . Get Yashaswi in. He's also a left hander in. This is if Gill is 100 % out. raki05 1 Link to comment
Need4Speed
I like the class of Gaekwad but he wont be the explosive opener we need..he will play for himself..till he is guaranteed permanent spot.. .Ofc Gill Is not explosive early on too but he is on a different level currently.. Jaisawal is explosive and can take innings deep..plus left hander plus could be groomed a leg spinner.. I want Gaekwad to succeed as well but he needs to be little more selfless.. Link to comment
Lord
Time for Gill to take inspiration from another Punjabi and play through Dengue for the WC Link to comment
Need4Speed
Gill had a one hour net session with left arm thorwdown specialis t bowling at 150 kph..to prepare for Shaheen..he looks fit and everyone is happy for such a fast recovery.. however, TM would like to see on Friday if his body can withstand heat in the afternoon..as match intensity will be high and the physical and mental demands are very high..for international matches..even more so again arch rivals..at such a cruicil opening position.. Lord
In case Kishan plays, he should look towards De Kock and how he's batting. Kishan tends to force the issue rather than react to the ball. Link to comment

But that happens once in 20 matches. Lord and Downtown 2 Link to comment

Rizwan cannot operate at the top gear of Kishan even in dreams. He can absolutely murder the bowling. Rizwan is more consistent on flat wickets against poor bowling or bowling which has no help at all. rangeelaraja and raki05 2 Link to comment
