rangeelaraja
NZ have yet to play: RSA Aus India Pak Lanka They need to win 2/5 games here to qualify for the semis without NRR being a factor. They have exhausted their minnow games. Link to comment
Serpico
Lanka is at minnow level right now. Just need one win against Aus/Ind/SA/Pak Nash 1 Link to comment
putrevus
NZ is not some unbeatable team. If India has to worry about beating NZ in India, then I don't think India deserves to be world champion. Edited October 21, 2023 by putrevus cricspirit and rangeelaraja 2 Link to comment
Lone Wolf
Meaning they will come very hard at us next game... Good. If we top the table & Kiwis sneak at 4th spot again could be a 2019 repeat at Wankhede. Lord 1 Link to comment

Was just speaking from the perspective of semi-final spots. NZ is not guaranteed based on their perfect scorecard - which they achieved by playing minnows - Ban, Netherlands, Afghanistan. putrevus
I am also very happy that we are facing them in Dharamashala where NZ has best chance to win in India. I want India to be tested in all aspects before knockouts. Link to comment
cowboysfan
we are playing them in 15 C weather and that too in home ground conditions for the Kiwis, they are favorites comfortably. Nash 1 Link to comment

vvvslaxman
We miss a thing called captaincy here. They are ultra-disciplined and meticulous in their planning and execution. One of the reason why they punch above the weight world cup after world cup. Look how well they managed just with 3 specialist bowlers against England in the first match. Link to comment
nitinbwj
We will beat them comfortably but this venue is manhoos. Nash and nevada 1 1 Link to comment

R!TTER
Not really, from memory all of our last few defeats have come against them chasing? If the bowlers tun up like they did 20_ years back we blow the kiwi lids off & stop their fake juggernaut! Link to comment

rangeelaraja
We forget Kiwis have been extraordinarily lucky against us as well. In 2019 WC semis against us - they got to bowl in DREAM overcast conditions in England on the second day during our batting - they themselves batted in very different conditions ICC Test championship against us - we faced them in their home turf like conditions. On subcontinent like conditions...we should crush them. nevada 1 Link to comment

rangeelaraja
*BUMP* Had called out their hype first. NZ are going to have their NRR destroyed after their loss to SA Have to win both their matches against Pak and Eng....if NZ lose 1 and win 1 after the SA loss, they are going to be in a NRR dogfight with Pak ( assuming Pak wins both their remaining games ) Scarface 1 Link to comment
