The upcoming Bangladesh Vs Sri Lanka match will be in the news for all the wrong reasons. If Delhi is soo polluted and is a health risk then why conduct sporting events there?! As it is, it's a miserable looking stadium, the visuals looking suffocating on TV, entire NCR is mostly made of uncouth people...... plenty of better, more scenic venues all across the country. Or perhaps build an all new indoor stadium for Delhi with the funds bcci has.

It's really annoying how all the western media/journalists will keep focussing on the pollution during the entire duration of tomorrow's game! Just digging one's own grave here. WTF? everybody could have predicted this situation once the punjabi farmers started stubble burning,only the dumb BCCI and the fool Jay Shah could not see this coming.I hope more of the worlds eye are on Delhi,we are literally killing future generations in NCR.most will die early and it could all be prevented with more government intervention.

Kotla is a historic venue. If this World Cup was happening in March/April, Delhi would have been fine.

 

November is probably not the right time to be playing there.

 

FWIW,  the Pommies were and still are complaining about the weather conditions in Mumbai and were blaming that for their loss to RSA.

 

Claimed to be very happy to breathe the fresher air in Bangalore. Of course , that didn't stop them getting stuffed by Lanka....

 

Scheduling wise, we should never have tournaments in November if we want to include these venues.
