Their batting wasn't a failure. Their bowling flopped . Boult was hardly a threat and Henry , their best seamer, got injured. Link to comment

Number
I wonder most of the people here would be shivering before 2011 QF. Aussies had won last 3 editions of world cups then. They had Ponting, Watson, Hussey, Clarke, Brett Lee, Tait and Johnson who were key players of their 2007 winning team. Just imagine the mental block to face them in your first knock out of the WC. India struggles against these kind of players on the big stages... let's hope atleast 2 of the 3 fail Add Mitch Marsh to the list. SRT100 1 Link to comment

SRT100
Really hope India win it not only for themselves but for mother India and her people, Australia winning the WC is really meaningless here in Australia, hardly anyone is following the tournament. Im sure Sunday, there will be a bit of excitement, but win or lose, nothing much will change come Monday in Australia. I think India will make Monday a National holiday if we win. Link to comment

Have they realised that if Aus are not winning WCs every time its not worth watching? Or is it because India is hosting and BCCI is a powerful board, Aussies now think Cricket is a waste of time as they cant boss around the brown man anymore?
