Its one thing to have some fun , but when a country starts believing in superstitions like tying a black thread to ankle or the presence of PM in a final will result in  team loss (may be due to undue pressure) then there is something seriously wrong.

In our Hindu Texts...  There is story of Raavan who forced all those navagrahs to be in perfect position at the time of his Son's (Meghnada) birth. 

We know the story of Shani. He disobeyed Ravan & sat on 12th house on his Horoscope (eventual reason to be killed) & got imprisoned as a result by Raavan.   Perhaps most powerful mortal to ever walk on planet was born in Meghnada whom even Gods feared & even supreme Lord Ram found himself helpless against his unmatchable powers w & sorcery skills.  Only warrior to perform all yajnas in our Texts.  Remember Lord Ram & Vishwamitra only performed Asvameda Yajna..

Astrology can be bulls*t as well but our Hindu texts say otherwise.  Modiji's reign since 2014 has surely coincided with our ICC trophy drought with some unbelievable bad luck at times.  Can't argue with that.

The knockouts should've been held in Lucknow and Eden Gardens, i.e. the venues where the pitch turns. Even Wankhede is a bad venue as it's toss dependent and we could've very well lost there had we lost the toss. Why not schedule knockouts in the venues which support spin? We were the only sub-continental team and would've won it on turning tracks against the other semi-finalists.

 

I mean does ICC and ECB prepare spin friendly tracks for WTC finals? Fault is BCCI's for not taking advantage of such a golden opportunity and don't know when we'll get another chance. All thanks to BCCI's ineptitude and cheap politicking where other factors were considered, and not what would maximize our chances and benefit our team.

So Mohali didn't meet the ICC standards? Last minute after there was public uproar, there was statement that it did not meet ICC standards. yeah right, we are to believe that.  so BCCI dropped it off the list. Which ICC standards did it not meet?

 

Mohali PCA stadium has hosted 2011 WC including the semis, 2016 T20Wc including the QF.  It has been hosting India and IPL matches.  It just hosted the India-Australia series 1 week before the start of this world cup. You don't meet ICC standards overnight, If there was an issue, it would have been known over a year ago and would've been fixed and then why would Mohali be in BCCI's list of venues if it didn't meet "ICC standards"

 

So Dharmashala met ICC standards with its crappy  outfield where players were advised not to dive? Delhi had games played with AQI near 400.  lol Multiple grounds had games scheduled changed due to security.  Grounds with 50m boundaries, ICC pitch consultant sidelined and overlooked for pitch changes ahead of final, etc

 

Some people suggested that Mohali was being renovated to host Kohli's 100th Test.  Lol, that 100th Test happened over a year ago. Just make up anything lol

Medal tally has improved with each event...  It's not surprising actually. 

Cricket has regressed where most focus is at.
