putrevus
Some geniuses think world cups are the only thing to cement legacy. Kallis never won a world cup but he is still best allrounder to have played this game.Nether did Malcolm Marshall. He is one of the great fast bowlers who have played this game.So is Dale Steyn. What these geniuses don't seem understand , it is still team game, you need a team to win. Sachin won world cup in 2011 in his sixth world cup. He did nothing in the world cup finals and others carried him to the glory.Does it mean Sachin was useless. Kohli has already won World cup as a player along with CT. If Yuvraj and Bumrah did not screw up in 2014 and 2016, he would have won t20 world cup too. Whingers talking about his legacy is very funny. Edited March 2 by putrevus Link to comment

He was a good odi bowler but never a great one. Even in tests he is a touch under true greats. Link to comment

He was injured otherwise he would have ended up with lot more wickets. He is true modern great fast bowler. His SR is amazing with 22.95 Avg.He had it all, pace, swing, bounce, reverse swing. I agree with you on odi part, he was not a great odi bowler. Edited March 2 by putrevus Kron 1 Link to comment

His record in australia and england is not good enough though. He got oubowled by johnson at times in h2h battles. He is under mcg ambrose and marshall. A few others too Link to comment

Gollum
Steyn is one bowler who would look pedestrian whole day, then suddenly get possessed and bowl a match winning spell against the tide, in the flattest of conditions. Did that so many times in India, Pak, Aus, Eng, everywhere. rollingstoned and Lord 1 1 Link to comment
Serpico
He missed 2-3 centuries and 500 runs in this series. If he fails to reach 10k runs, he'll regret missing out this one Gollum 1 Link to comment

That 60 avg is more than Sachin, Sehwag , dravid and Laxman. Edited March 8 by putrevus Link to comment
Gollum
Kohli's bad form period is over, he would have scored 600 runs this series, including daddy 100s. But India managed fine, Kohli's miss. Link to comment

When you are in good nick, make use of it instead of sitting at home. Kohli will regret this miss later I am sure. Anushka gave birth in second week of Feb, Kohli could still have played the final 2-3 tests. Edited March 8 by Gollum Link to comment

It's not Steyn's fault SA batter's lose their collective heads against Oz at home. it's like blaming Jadeja or Ashwin for our chumps' batting at home in the last 4-5 years Link to comment
