Stan AF Posted May 22, 2025 Posted May 22, 2025 We qualified with a game to spare. 11th time in playoffs.. This has to be the most competitive IPL playoffs ever i guess. Even winning 8 games we were made to wait.
rollingstoned Posted May 22, 2025 Posted May 22, 2025 Haven't looked back since Bumrah came back basically. None of the other teams will want to face them in the playoffs, they have all bses covered and know how to win important games. crictime 1

That game which DC lost to MI and Nair played a blinder was a turning point. Stan AF 1
Stan AF Posted May 22, 2025 Posted May 22, 2025 From Cricinfo 18.2 W Bumrah to Mustafizur, OUT From the brink of despair last season and early this campaign, to pure elation and ecstasy - the Mumbai Indians, five-time winners already, are now eleven-time qualifiers! This brilliantly bullish band in blue and gold, away from the big time for a gruelling year that may have felt like an eternity, will be back in the thick of it all in 2025! And this stellar star cast, of Boult and Bumrah, of Tilak and SKY, of Chahar and Dhir and Santner, and of Rickelton, Rohit and the redemption-chasing Hardik, will have yet another opportunity to add to this league's legend and to this franchise's folklore, and to show how and why this team just gets winning better than most in the land! cowboysfan Posted May 22, 2025 Posted May 22, 2025 i will be shocked if they dont win the IPL,on paper the best team BY FAR

Gollum Posted May 23, 2025 Posted May 23, 2025 Santner is a game changer, wasted in CSK but MI recognizes quality. Stan AF 1

rollingstoned Posted May 24, 2025 Posted May 24, 2025 And this after losing that first game convincingly to CSK of all teams this season.. lol.

Mariyam Posted May 27, 2025 Author Posted May 27, 2025 Our work is cut out for us. All we need to do is win the next 3 games and we are the IPL champions! bouncers and Stan AF 2
Mariyam Posted May 29, 2025 Author Posted May 29, 2025 Just now, crictime said: MI is the team to beat. MI is going to break its GT jinx tomorrow. crictime 1

Jos Buttler is also not there. So GT battIng will be tested for sure , this time against arguably the best bowling attack of this IPL. Mariyam 1
vvvslaxman Posted May 29, 2025 Posted May 29, 2025 Does MI have the will to win 3 on the trot without Pollard? This will be the first if that happens.
vvvslaxman Posted May 29, 2025 Posted May 29, 2025 winnings 3 games in a row is not easy either. MI will need a lot of assistance from the opposition like choking. Looking at the teams they are perfectly capable of melt down. GT is probably mentally stronger. But their bowling is losing the plot in the last 2 games.
