Other than India, which one team would you like to see lift the 2024 WC T20?

I am assuming that everyone here, in spite of all the selection bickerings etc., will be ecstatic if India wins the T20 WC. But, if India is not in the picture for whatever reason, whom would you support?

 

Not asking about who you *think* will win it, but whom you would *want* winning it (other than India)? Rooting interest besides India. Soft-corner team?

My choice: West Indies.

 

They play T20 cricket, especially batting, the way it is best played. Mercurial, to say the least. But it will be fireworks all the way if they make it to the end and win it.

 

What makes it easy to root for them also is that, even when they are playing well, it seems like they are an underdog .... you never know when they will lose interest and stop caring. But when they are on .... they are ON!!

West Indies has always been my second team, since childhood. So them, (distant) 3rd will be RSA because of Klaaasen.

We'll be thrashed by any half-decent team. We neither have batting or bowling to compete against the top teams. And we all know about our fielding standards with likes of Siraj, Chahal and Rohit in the field

Something positive will happen when ipl is given back seat .which means we should all be paying money to watch psl ..lol.that will never happen ..next gen soopertsars are getting  ready to play till 40.
