Yeah Germans are looking good but we have very one sided H2H against them in last 8 meetings. 7-1 or something.

We have a good record vs them over the last 12 games. Lead in Olympics. You never know.

 

But refs hate us. I am worries about ref decision. Also we don't have the defended who is elite.

Yep.  But Germany are defending champ in Hockey WC (2023).  They might hv mental edge on big occassion.   Hope to be proved wrong.

Don't take bilateral records in hockey too seriously. Lots of experiments happen. Only Pak plays full strength team even against Chile and Egypt.

 

But we don't have a mental block against Germans.

 

We will go as slight underdogs, hope to see great fight.

One of the most misogynist societies in India is Haryana and look how they cheer for their wrestler girls. This is how much sport means to Haryanvis.

All other states need to follow them and we will be a sporting power house.

Haryana best sporting state in India. 

 

If they win 3 golds, maybe govt will give them quarter of the Khelo India funds of Guj, a state which which sent 3 athletes this time.

 WFI expressed its disapproval of private NGOs like JSW Sports and Olympic Gold Quest, which WFI believed were "spoiling" Indian wrestlers by the way they were handling and training them.

 

I don't understand why does WFI has issues if other NGOs are helping the wrestlers .
