That is why I skip most matches and get pleasantly surprised when we win a medal

Yeah but can't really do anything. I've yet to see an umpiring decision, or a TV review go in our favor. It's always "poor decision, hard luck"

Bro, in the second half most of our circle penetrations were through long balls to right flank, there was nothing he could do after receiving the ball as we never had enough men forward.

I wouod like a surprise like Table Tennis team lead by Manika Batra leading us to Bronze medal or something, since they have a tough draw and won their initial one yestersat. I will take that Bronze any day.

That has been the case always for me. When your country is fighting for grand total of 5 or 6 medals out of 100s of medals it is not smart to spend your emotional energy there.

The biggest surprise came from the least expected place, Phogat reaching finals and all the matches happened on same day too

 

Also it says a lot about Indian support infra and government support when the sports we reached the final in is where we had least support from admin and government because of the protest. Where they provided support we underachieved. I believe if Nisha wasnt injured she would have also done much better.

They had golden chance to do something special today but they stunk in last period.

2 things 

1. After equalising 2-2 we went on the defensive. That was not good.

2. 3rd umpire blatantly cheating. Giving advantage, then PC.

 

Both factors were working simultaneously....it was too stressful to watch.
