Anyways good performance by PAK. Their opener especially looked quite solid when I saw him in the last match. Bowlers bowled decently as well.

Ayub and Shafique should be persisted with.  Left right combination.

Maybe not in T20 format but they are good enough for other two.

I still think they will struggle in Champions Trophy though when teams come prepared.

Yes openers look good. Previously their batting was horrible to even remain competitive. But I agree, I don’t consider them as a top LOI team by any stretch.

Actually the gap itself has narrowed among the top teams now.

India has won in 2008 and 2019 as well.

Only Asian team to win a test in Perth Centurion Gabba Newlands Joburg.

I think only Asian team to not lose a T20 Series in Australia ever. Drawing 2 and Winning 2.

Sir, 2008 was the commonwealth series, like the one Pak won jn 96. Im talking about bilateral ODI’s.

Ok then India didn't played bilateral ODIs for a long while when we toured Australia.  2019 and 2021 are only two series we have played bilateral ODI series in Australia in last 3 decades.

We won in 2019.

Unlike Pakistan who even lost to Australia at home consistently though in this time period.

Our bilateral T20 series record in Australia England is very good unlike Pakistan.

It was Imam scoring on those roads vs a pathetic bowling line up.

Here, Australia were only missing Marsh and Head.

Travis Head histprically hasnt made much impact vs us. Though Warner was a beast - but he retired so thats something we cant do much about

I'm talking especially about this game..they had one bad day in the 2nd ODI which happens but the side that played today is nowhere close to full strength.

Anyways, congrats on an impressive win. You guys have picked yourselves up well in the last one month or so. Win against England was praiseworthy but these white ball bilaterals say absolutely nothing.

Pakistan still has lots of work to do to be competitive in ODI and Tests particularly in SENA . There is no fast bowling bench strength and lower middle order are not good against genuine pace and moving ball. I'm talking about Saud, Agha and Kamran Ghulam . No good spinner for ODI's and not sure Sajjad and Nauman will have any overseas.

Fast bowlers did well in Australia but look at the declining pace of these "young" bowlers. Afridi was bowling 129-132 and Naseem and Husnain were a bit faster but not even touching 140, that too in very helpful wickets at MCG and Perth . Rauf was the fastest but he was bowling in high 130's and rarely touched 140.

Oh 100%. Third ODI was C team.

We still have middle order issues which Australia couldnt exploit. I think Irfan Niazi, Kamran and Agha are not good enough.

Maybe we need to add Noman Ali to team because he can bat well too. But he is already 38 and thats his official age.

Pakistan too was without imam and Fakhar but the replacements fired. However, Marsh and Travis replacement flopped so they were missed.

Imam is garbage and he was dropped in WC.

Fakhar is hit and miss.

Saim and Abdullah are primary openers for Pakistan

Typical reactionary Pakistani fan.
You're mixing formats here for Fakhar. A batter with 3.5k runs, an average of 47, and a strike rate of 95 in ODIs isn't exactly "hit and miss." Fakhar's even got two Man of the Match awards in his last four ODIs—he's among the best out there in this format. He is the first batter on team sheet in ODIs for Pakistan.

And about Imam: while he was rested during the World Cup, selectors said it was due to a failed fitness test this time around. With an ODI average of 48, plus solid numbers (45 in England, 50 in South Africa, yet to debut in Aus and 1 game in NZ), he’s hardly "useless." Sure, his strike rate isn’t the highest, but for Pakistan’s batting setup, Imam's a pretty reliable choice to play 50 overs and put a total the bowling can defend.

V.poor batting display by Aus not a single 250+ score hardly able to bat 30 overs.

Are they also at same point as Ind batting ?? They are just missing Head and Marsh ......

Do not think Pak was bowling anything special no discrediting them, but there is no some mystery spin, no1 was bowling any exceptional or any express pace.

Has Pakistan actually turned the corner? It is pretty much the same team that got their sh** canned in the world cup, Asia cup.

Different captain.

Babar was terrible, Shaheen not fit for it.

Let's see how Rizwan pans out.

Well it looks like he planned it to happen before the test season starts. Don't tell me professionals that plan every aspect of their diet, exercise and schedule don't know how to plan pregnancy

yes this is pinpoint accuracy, just two weeks before the BGT, Travis Head can exactly control when his semen hits the egg and only needs one chance for conceiving.

Bro, this is an absolutely ridiculous take.

Are you saying Rohit and Virat planned it to occur with BGT

Just checked and saw there's so much cricket going.

Eng vs West indies

Windies apparently won the ODI series.

NZ vs SL , seems all low scoring matches.

Australia vs Pakistani I knew, waiting for their T20 games.

Don't much care for Ind vs SA, I'm mentally tuned in for Border Gavaskar trophy anyways.
