Gautam Gambhir performance as coach

Not sure how GG (as HeadCoach) survived the BGT debacle?  Worst fear is that he might even survive the ongoing series humiliation if our team manages to draw/win atleast 1 test.

Gambhir has an agenda against some players and he doesn't play them.He has not played Eashwaran even after he is with the squad in every series. 

 

He dropped Sarfaraj even after scoring 150 runs .He even preferred Paddikal ,Jurel over Sarfaraj, whenever there was opportunity.

I don't follow IPL closely.Did LSG do anything where Morkel did something for  fast bowlers?Ishant could have been lot better if he had proper coaching and captaincy early in his career.

 

 

I feel Fast bowling coach is the most important job, more than head coach. Whatever I read about Morkel he was only singing praises about Bumrah and nothing much, maybe I am wrong.

If given any excuse he will dump Pant as well if it were up to him. Very clear he doesn't like him or his approach and it's only Pant's consistent performance that is keeping him in the side. He was visibly bristling when asked to comment on Pant's 2 centuries in his press conference..a really poor quality in a man manager.

One thing I have noticed about Gambhir, he has lot of personal agendas.But he is nothing but a bloody hypocrite who is singing different tunes now preaching patience and team game.

 

When he was in media he was so critical on Shastri like what he did  win away from home.He went on and on about Rayudu's exclusion, what he has done to Sarfraz who is much better player than Rayudu .

 

If I am not wrong he has already lost more home matches than Shastri did in his career.He has already lost 7 matches and counting in 11 tests.India lost 13 tests out 43 when Shastri was the coach.

Still time for more hypocrisy to surface as the series has just started. Gambhir who toured England twice as a specialist top order batsman, didn't cross 50 even once and had an average of 12.7 in England. When Jaiswal, Pant and others get a few dismissals for low scores, It won't be long before he is lecturing them on the virtue of playing for the team, think of jawans on the border etc etc
