Lone Wolf Posted November 10, 2024 Posted November 10, 2024 Losing the series 3-0 at home to a 6th ranked side is unforgivable. Frustrated and Bigg Brother 2

That loss in B'lore is solely on him. T Ridiculous Toss decision. Frustrated, Manucrick and Ultimate_Game 3
MK55 Posted November 10, 2024 Posted November 10, 2024 This entitled brat should either grow a thick skin, remain humble for what he’s got and evolve as a bowler or he’s free to retire and focus on his X account. Ultimate_Game 1
Bigg Brother Posted November 10, 2024 Posted November 10, 2024 The magnitude of this series loss is unparalleled. Sooner they realise, better for them. A dark blot on their careers which includes Ashwin as well. Whitewash to this joke of unit is unacceptable. Ultimate_Game 1
Need4Speed Posted November 10, 2024 Posted November 10, 2024 I criticize them more for not grooming next batters..next gen of fast bowlers and spinners.. You see just 1-2 players here and there and pathetic domestic quality.. Sandz and express bowling 2
Number Posted November 10, 2024 Posted November 10, 2024 Ashwin and Jadeja are 2 players I have some sympathy for. These 2 were the guys who built this streak of 18 straight series wins with the ball and even saving our asses with the bat everytime we were in trouble. It surely must be hurting them badly no doubt. Real culprits are top order batters. Manucrick, JaFanatic, Forever Indian and 4 others 4 3

Once Jadeja and Ashwin leave somebody will be under pressure maintain that streak since spinners play a major role here. India had major escapes recently due to batting from lower order. Moment lower order didn't show up we were brutally exposed. Sundar is a great pressure player. But he has to prove this over a longer period. Ultimate_Game 1

Once they are in the hot seat ,and that incudes everyone from players to coaches to management, they make sure that no one else comes close to the hot seat so that they can milk it forever and ever, even with one leg in the casket they do not want to vacate the hot seat. There were enough indications. Most of these guys have been playing more than a decade. Rohit close to 20 years. They knew even 3 years back they will all be on the wrong side of 30s at the same time. So transition was not handled well. As you approach 35 and beyond chances you get should be less not more. OUr BCCI does the opposite way. THey give the most opportunities to the guys who are in their twilight phase and discards the youngsters immediately. Ultimate_Game, Need4Speed and singhvivek141 3

The way he allowed no. 9 batter Southe to smash 70 from 45 balls in a test match is not something which can be forgotten/forgivable. (Same Southe who had failed to last more than 5 balls in any innings against lankan spinners)

Aptly put, when our pacers were in prime we had 4 fast bowlers in Tests supporting Ash & Jaddu. Bumrah was available to be used exclusively in SENA countries as Umesh was enough to rattle the opposition in the home conditions. Now Ishant and Umesh are gone and we have just one replacement in the form of spring chicken Siraj. Akashdeep isnt trusted by Rohit and hence is underbowled in every test he has played so far. Now our batters have gone old, so is our spinners and so does the pacers. Even the replacements playing in A team are around 29-30 years old. Not many under 22-23 players are given opportunities.
