They have twisted Aurangzeb's motives to torture Sambhaji I heard from reviews. Big turn off for me right there decided to skip at least for time being. Without giving away spoilers, the last 30 mins were uncomfortable to watch, I think the reason they toned it down is because if they went full monty on it, it would have been too gory, as it is it made you clench your teeth. I don't think they changed the motive but toned it down a bit, a certain question from Auangzeb to Sambhaji was asked only once in the movie, but in reality it was asked everyday for 40 days with the same answer, but I liked the reply of Vicky in that scene. The only thing I feel could have better was background music, but this movie is for theater, and IMAX was just perfect for this. ravishingravi 1

Lone Wolf Posted February 18, 2025 Posted February 18, 2025 (edited) Women crying is understandable but why are men crying? This is reality of war at the end of the day. Now we know why NCERT never told kids what Timur actually did in Delhi during the invasion Entire country may get PTSD if a movie is ever made on that one Edited February 18, 2025 by Lone Wolf

It all happened in history and it hits home real. I find it disrespectful to the fallen warrior. From the videos I saw they toned it down considerably. Indian history from 7th to 20th century is full of these instances. Indians really don't have any appetite for real violence. RR post Abhinandan capture made me respect our ancestors even more. 60-70s 90s people were honestly so based. Always raise victors and not victims. This should fill them with rage than crying Edited February 18, 2025 by Lone Wolf

These Bahamanis were a real piece of work Yes, the demise of Vijayanagar empire and the destruction of Hampi depicts a tragic story of how Muslim rulers used religion to win battles. Aliya Rama Raya was betrayed by his own Muslim commanders and was captured and beheaded. His torso was hung at the city’s entrance to defeat the psyche of any Hindu resistance. It was not just Adil Shah of Bahamanis , others from Nizahshah of Ahmednagar and Qutbshah of Golconda also joined forces and fought against Rama Raya in the battle of Talikota. Earlier, all these Muslim rulers were thoroughly defeated and they were forced to have treaties with Krishna Devaraya. Hindu rulers would spare the lives of generals and sultans. KDR even married the daughter of a Muslim ruler to forge peace. Rama Raya had even helped Adil Shah to fight against Nizams, but when it came to deliver the decisive blow, they all joined forces. Captured Rama Raya by deceit and it is said Nizamshah himself beheaded Rama Raya. Hindus should have done proper Shatrubodh and dealt with Muslims with the same ruthlessness . We are inspired by our Dharma and they are inspired by Quran and Hadiths. Later. Muslim rulers plundered and looted regular citizens of Hampi. Looted and destroyed the temples. It is said that loot from Hampi was used to build the Charminar in Hyderabad. singhvivek141, Gollum, Lone Wolf and 1 other 4

Aliya Rama Raya definately wasn't the sharpest when it came to strategy, he clearly overplayed his hand but my goodness heart breaks reading about this battle. I bet majority of our country doesn't have a clue about this one. This battle is right up there with top 3 decisive ones.. battle of Tarain with Ghurid Rana Sangha and Babar Battle of Talikota Any different outcome in above three would have changed the course of history. Sab hai, but what is missing is showing that fight was for Hindus, not saying “This fight is not against any mahzab”. But all was not held back. See the movie only on the big screen. Akshaya Khanna has modulated his voice to sound ruthless to big effect . Torture scenes were adequate, can’t go for too much really to show torn body parts etc. nails, eyes, etc were enough. Songs from ARE are a huge disappointment, BGM just barely adequate.Rashmika has some gutka jubaan dialogue delivered like in Animal, but with not much role, much tolerable. He played the 3d chess as long as he could. The issue is the ch** hindus that still cannot think of a Pan-hindu identity beyond muhh caste/religion and region. Look at Telugu Sanghi's. Telangana Sanghi's are sub-regionalists and AP Sanghis are hard boiled casteists.
