having both kuldeep and varun cut short the batting, plus kuldeep is coming after an injury and varun is slow mover in the field. Do not think both will play together.

Can Ind trust their batting with KL, Kolhi and rohit. they will need to keep their batting as deep as possible

Saim looked ok not saying he was going to win the trophy, there is no comparison between saim and abhishek, abhishek is out and out t20 batter and saim looks like pak version all format player, able to hit 4/6 and build some innings nt like current t20 batters but an upgrade for pak in terms of modern batting approach.

I understand what you are saying but if Rohit, Rahul and Virat need batting cushion then they need to be dropped. Let's see how things go in CT. I guess we will see CT playing xi in today's ODI.

Till last 50 over WC Fakhar Zaman was considered the most aggressive batsman in pak lineup. However Rohit has better ODI avg at same SR but Rohit doesn't come across as the most aggressive player in Indian line. So good for Pakistan if they have found a young talent, all the best to Saim.

Shaheen Afridi will do something different this time. twice now he has tried to bring the ball in to Rohit and has been smashed. Naseem is a good bowler. I know he was struggling with injuries but he was good. That said I agree with everyone bat out first 5 overs and next 45 will be ours.

both naseem and shaeen have dropped off a lot after their injuries. both hardly hit 140 kmph

In current form Shaheen should be more worried about Sharma's bat  and not the other way round . Sharma just scored a quickfire match winning century against England and Shaheen conceded 88 runs in 10 overs in his last ODI against NZL.

Shaheen in not Amir of 2017.

Smashin six off his legs or stumps for early vada

This is where I have a different view. Aqib Javed even in his playing days was a street smart cricketer more like maidad. They know Rohit will be ready for anything on legs even short so they will go a different route. Something weird like outside off with room to cut basically out the box so that Rohit plays a risky shot.

for @Lords nri fisherman no team needs to think outside the box. Bring a kid gully bowler n put 9 slips…katham.

Yes I just hope we pick Pant who has a good record against Pakistan. We must play him tomorrow in the 3rd ODI against England. If they want to give more time to KL, maybe play him instead of Shreyas.

Lol @ KL even Varun can play ahead of him as keeper-batter. No need of kela if possible leave him at Mumbai airport before leaving to Dubai. I still remember how he kept getting out everytime he faced Pakistani bowlers in last 3-4 years he got out even when he tried to play defensive.

That Amir spell has to be the most over rated spell in the history of cricket .Amir had 340 runs to defend.

A score of 300+ has never been chased in history of world cup or.CT finals. 250+ has been chased once. Even zimbabwe bowlers would seem like demon when batsmen are under pressure in final.

Match was won when Pak scored almost 340

Any specific reason

For me, Indian cricket died the day NZ completed the whitewash in Mumbai. There is no coming back from that, not even if we win the next 10 WCs without dropping a game.
