2001 Parliament attack, 26/11 were targeted at India. India-Pakistan have had multiple wars, constant cross border shelling, insurgency problems etc.

Had Pakistan acted on 26/11 mastermind or handed back Dawood, things would have been different. Congress in 2000s was the most pro-Pak Indian government practically possible, even they couldn't pretend things were normal after what happened in 26/11 and its aftermath.

Even Modi reached out to Sharif in 2015 hen he visited in Lahore, a week after that there was an attack

Sensible , Pure and simple reason.

Coz we don't trust Pakistan, its people and their heavily radicalized society which has special hatred towards India and specially towards Hindus.

You guys are so brainwashed with wrong information about Pakistan , must be in your elementary school syllabus . Its OK, lets move on .

It doesn't need to be in any syllabus. We have seen very well what's the true nature of Pakistan and its awaam has.

Supporting military rulers since 1947, Pakistan is no better than DRC or Somalia.

Yes, there was one  and its nothing new unfortunately . But there was no security concern for the visiting teams , they have been provided proper security . ICC cleared the security arrangements and then every board had its own assessment , hence all other teams are visiting and playing in Pakistan . India would not be the first foreign team to visit Pakistan in recent years .

I'm dead against the current regime and the army's strong hold in Pakistan , so much so , I hate to visit Pakistan now , just for that reason . But, we have to be honest when discussing cricket matters here , India's refusal to go to Pakistan was only to secure some political points in India, nothing else. If I'm so honest about situation in Pakistan and don;t deny what's wrong there, you should also keep your biased aside while discussing cricket here.

The present govt already have garnered enough political points. They are winning elections at a remarkable strike rate from last 11 years. Pakistan is a non-issue in India, even in J&K people have stopped talking about Pakistan. Its only in Pakistan where they are obsessed about India and talk day and night on the topic of "hamsaya mulk".

In 2003 many teams didn't travel to Zimbabwe as well for obvious reasons. No one raised any eye brows then ? It's a perfectly normal thing in any sports. Did we just forget about Munich Olympics incident ?

Simple reason is, India doesn't care about Pakistan anymore. Pakistan just don't have any quality cricket left, plus the people to people connect is getting weaker. Younger gen (born after 2008-09) don't have any cricketing memories with regards to Pakistan.

Pakistan need to accept that the bridges are forever burnt (thanks to their stupid army generals), India has moved on and they too should. Hybrid model is accepted by BCCI, so now they should start strengthening their cricketing ties with other nations.

You dumdum, we are not coming to pay homage to Isloo sultaan like kufr team. You can give 100% security to the freaking 25-30 people that make up team India by sticking 300 good army personnel around them  and making sure nothing is unknown for 200m radius of hotel they live ?
Cool.

Thats not a big deal. Any dehati nation thats not in literal civil war can probably do that.

However, Pakistan is not safe for India FANS. so scroo playing in front of your crowd, when our own cant go there and visit safely. We dont care what your regime is.We care for the fact that a hindu crowd roaming around celebrating a win in peshawar after match and waiting to fly back home flat out gets killed. THAT is what is the problem. And denying it doesnt wont help, we can quote your vidhaata Amreeka on this matter, so don't even try to talk about country where hindus are enslaved and carried off as rape brides in sindh with zero justice and punishment.

You are barely safe for simple tourism. Which means random indian dude showing up and drinking chai-biskoot in peshawar or quetta and locals not murdering him. Sure, in THAT form of tourism, Pakistan can be safe for the well behaved and nice Indian tourist.

But that is NOT sports tourism. Sports tourism is when you have at least a few thousand of your ARCH ENEMY team show up and if they win against you, you KNOW that at lest several hundred are gonna go PARTAAAAAAAAAAAAY BOOOOOOYAAAAAAAAAAAAA in your face over it.

Your dehati isloo fundamentalist nation does NOT have the civility to celebrate a bunch of hindus doing that and dont even pretend that is the case. And until that is the case, we won't visit you. Simple.

First kiss your hindu minority as a minority who needs upliftment, make policies and kiss their feet like the west does for its chosen small minorities like black people in usa or muslims in uk and then we will talk. Till then, no bueno. Clear ????????

Punabis (non-Sikhs) and Gujjus are portrayed better comparatively.

Yes, but those Punjabis do not utter Punjabi at all. I am not sure whether to call to call filmy Malhotras and Singhanias as Punjabi characters. They are typical Bollywood characters with some Punjabi lines with no accent.

These are stale cliches which we have been hearing since eons. It might have cut some ice and fooled some naive, well meaning people in the past but not anymore. Maybe it's a chooran you people have successfully managed to consume yourself in trying to feed it to others. Reality and wishful thinking are 2 very different things. The former is a very plain thing, doesn't matter elementary or Doctoral level.

Dr saab lets be honest, diaspora is different. and "back home" is different.  I get it, its harsh to read nasty comments about your country and people all the time.

And yes, there's an agenda behind Indian cricket team not playing in Pak, but nobody can objectively claim that Pakistan has 'cleared its accounts' when it comes to terrorism that murders innocents in India.  Why shouldn't the Indian government use the leverage it has, including its cricket team, to seek better outcomes on that "political agenda"?  Its not unfair.

You should be blaming the corrupt regime as you rightfully point out, not the Indian government.

He's not totally wrong you know.  80% of people are sheep - tomorrow if the "establishment" in Pakistan starts pushing a pro India or peace with India line, I'd bet 70-80% of Pakistani 'awaam' would happily embrace that.  Problem is that the official policy is bigotry and hate fueled, solely to allow the military feudals to continue their exploitative empire.

These things don't happen overnight and mindset doesnt change in an instant. It take decades and sometimes centuries to have a lasting impact.

For that to happen the entire raison d'etre of the nation has to change. This is not some straightforward case of 'polticians are evil and making us fight but people are good', the kind of thing which sounds good and keeps getting repeated ad nauseam but is patently untrue.

Ftr 'establishment' in Pakistan has wanted normal relations with India for some time now because it obviously benefits them unequally, before he got arrested even Imran khan was saying this. It means unfettered cross border trade and them being part of UPI etc while continuing their activities against India in the background. After getting burnt multiple times it's understandable why the govt doesn't buy it anymore.

Just to add to your point.

As long as Pakistan will be ruled by "establishment" there can never be peace between India & Pak.

Pakistan is milked by there gernails by showing them the fear of "Hindus" from across the border. This is a leverage they have over the common people and politicians. Thats the reason why no PM in pakistan has ever completed his tenure.

If hypothetically there is peace between India & Pak, the Pak army and gernails will have no reason left to eat up a chunk of Pakistan govt. revenue.
