gakgupta Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Ofcourse pant and jaiswal But iyer could be a weak link on seaming conditions .. who is the next inline for his position? Sarfaraz or tilak varma or nitish?? I think ..they will give a rope to nitish ... They need to find a replacement for pandya... Ofcourse nitish is not a apple to apple replacement but ..including him gives a strong message to domestic players that india is looking for a pace bowling allrounder and encourage the young players to push themselves towards it

Bigg Brother Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Musheer Khan can be next big thing, let's see how he performs in IPL this time.
BacktoCricaddict Posted March 9 Posted March 9 By 2040, someone or the other will emerge. Why to take tension now? nevada, velu, Stan AF and 3 others 5 1
neel roy Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Yeah Rohit Kohli is like Narine Russell for KKR. 2040 IPL mega auction KKR retentions : Sunil Narine in wheelchair and Russell with a walking stick nevada 1
tapandrun Posted March 9 Posted March 9 1 hour ago, gakgupta said: I really like sai . He is superb technique and plays short ball really well but he is not in contention at all .. The issue is can he bat with high tempo on flat tracks??? what if both him and gill gets stuck and not score at good rate. We saw this many times in this ct, 300+ were score and some batter just played a match losing innings, 150 of a near run a ball cost eng a game. Sai is good technically plus a left hander but the power game to keep-up the tempo and increase it is what is needed in today's white-ball cricket. Give him chances in test 1st would be a better idea, he is compact plays all around the wkt.
Ultimate_Game Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Mine would be Jaiswal and Sai Sudarshan. Jaiswal, Gill and Sai will be a decent top 3.
CoverDrive Posted March 10 Posted March 10 Jaiswal, Iyer, Rahul, Gill are going to be in the running. But overall we are going to be relying more on the squad depth and longer batting lineup as Axar, PAndya and Sundar (once JAdeja goes) are going to be mainstays. Our ODI teams will become more like the T20 one with couple of anchors on top

Lone Wolf Posted March 10 Posted March 10 Push Gill to 3 & let Jaiswal Abhishek open and cook in PP. Next WC is on batting beauties of SA. Both Jaiswal and Abhishek would love ball coming on the bat.

prudent_kreeda Posted March 10 Posted March 10 Batting seems to have almost sorted out . Just need to find #3 bat (assuming VK may not play) -Jaiswal, Gill, Pant, Iyer, Rahul Potential batting newcomers- Tilak, Sai All rounders - Nitish, hardik , Riyan ,Axar Pace Bowlers - Bhumra, Harshit Rana, Arshdeep/ Mayank (if fit and firing) Spinners - Varun , Kuldeep Problem will be to have 8 batsmen within eleven.
Sooda Posted March 10 Posted March 10 (edited) Sai Sudharshan at no 3 and Jaiswal picks himself Parag, NKR and Tilak are others for the middle order all offer bowling to varying degrees I think Paddikal should be in the squads too, has shown good temperament for A team and in tests, and has a great list A record Vaibhav Arora as a pace option, I hope /wish Rohit, Shami, Jadeja had all retired from ODIs , and maybe Virat too tbh Edited March 10 by Sooda Mariyam 1
Number Posted March 10 Posted March 10 Tilak and Yashaswi will probably replace them. Though not sure if that will be before 2027 or after. Lord 1
